Would'nt we want to see our own city, the streets, the schools, the gymnasiums, the condominiums all coloured with love instead of being in black and white – and often even in gray?
We often see scenes of war, attempts on peoples lives, starving children, immigrants on barges in the middle of the sea and we ask ourselves why do these things happen. We would like to do something about it, but what and where do we begin?

A GOLDEN RULE
A small rule would be enough to change the world. It is contained in many sacred books of all the major religions since it is a rule which is written in the depths of the hearts of every human being: “Do to others what you would have them do to you and do not do to others what you would not have them do to you!” This rule is so important and precious that it has been called the Golden rule.

WHERE DO WE BEGIN?
Let’s begin with the person next to us in class as well as the janitor, our teachers and with all those we meet along the way and even if it may seem difficult with someone, in the end we will discover that it is not so.
Let’s begin to change our world, to colour it and we will experience a joy never known before. Try it to believe it!!!

IN OUR CITY
Together with other young people living this same experience we can look around us, in our neighbourhoods, in our towns and cities and we can see where there are gray spots and where there are particular needs. Visit the lonely people, the orphaned, and the abandoned children. There are parks to be cleaned, immigrant children to befriend and that need knowledge of the language and need to be integrated into the society.  Let’s colour all these with our love.

A COMPITITION OF LOVE
By now we are many who have begun to live in this way and in various parts of the world. Why not have a competition to colour the whole world, each by doing his part in his own city just like a puzzle?

A WEB PAGE
This website was born for this very purpose. Each group of young for unity can sign up and can have their own page on the website. It is a page where it can present what it is doing. It will be neat visiting all the pages, from Guatemala to Russia, from Angola to Japan and to see the various initiatives. Each initiative will automatically gain a point and other points will be awarded by a jury that will give a prize for the most original and most successful idea.
